About Us
Victoria Wave Special Economic Zone was established in June 2, 1988 and registered
as a Special Economic Zone in September 10, 1993. Its total enclosed area of
approximately 185,000 square meters inside a fully developed and secured area of
25 hectares. The Zone and its Locators currently employ over 2,000 workers from
within its three adjacent communities. The VWSEZ is located within the Metro
Manila area, more specifically Caloocan City, which is in close proximity &
easily accessible to the airport (20 km), seaport (25 km), and major business
centers.
Victoria Wave is the only economic zone of its kind in Metro Manila that offers foreign/local SME's and Exporters the ability to gain PEZA accreditation through it's flexible factory building sizes. Leasable areas as small as 250sqm up to over 10,000sqm are currently being offered to companies of all sizes. Once accredited, companies located in the zone can take advantage of all the tax incentives available to PEZA accredited entities, including but not limited to Income and Value Added Tax (VAT) exemptions.
A perimeter fence and ample security force ensures the safety of the entire
industrial complex. There is also 1 central gate for the entry of personnel and
goods, which allows for the proper inspection of all incoming and outgoing traffic.
The 3 communities neighboring the Zone provide VWSEZ and its Locators a very
skilled workforce. Moreover, the Zone boasts of not having any major problems with
labor in its 10 years of existence.
